I am finishing up some benchmark tests with the RedRocket in Sonnet's Echo Express Pro doing transcodes from different configurations, SSD, eSATA, SATA, etc. I am in need of a 5K .r3d I can use that is at least 1:00 in length. preferably 6:1 compression. The footage will never be seen by anyone, I just need it for transcode tests. My current project is 2 Scarlet's, and we only have 4K at our disposal. Let me know if anyone can dropbox me a file. Thanks!

Thanks. I'm out of LA, but I'm in Philly on a shoot at the moment. Would you be able to upload a clip to my dropbox?

Ryland, Scarlet shoots at 5k.... ( it will be at 12 FPS, so let it run for 2:00 and you will have what you need.)

I know, I just wanted everything to be 24fps. for the testing. But yeah, transcode would take the same time to render a 12 fps 2:00 clip as it would a 24 fps 1:00 clip. :-)

It shouldn't change the transcode time doing varispeed right?

    That could work. Thanks!

Varispeed does increase transcode time. I'll send ya something soon hopefully.
