  1. #1 final cut pro Video Processing options
can anyone shed some light on the video processing options in final cut when you do sequence settings? i have never messed with this before ever, until recently i put a graphic in a video and instead of red it was orange. after a billion things that i tried i switched the video processing from one thing to another and it made the video look the way i thought that it should. i dont remember what setting that was, or if now every sequence i make in final cut has that setting now as the default or what, but can anyone just explain what the different options are or which one i should be using etc? most of the time, i render stuff out of redcine to pro res 422 and cut it in final cut with no color correction and export the final movie from final cut as pro res 422 and deliver it.

GFX and VFX it could a lot of things, namely aspect ratio, codec compatibility.

Orange render bar indicates graphics/effects exceed real time playback and that you have Unlimited RT selected. Try Safe RT and see if you're happy with the playback quality.
