Most compact way to convert RED HDMI to SD?

I have developed helmet camera and I'm looking for the most compact way to convert the HDMI output of the camera to standard definition for my video-glasses. I want to avoid using the SDI output as i'd rather have that as the clean feed, plus keeping everything HDMI means the setup is compatible with any smaller prosumer cameras or even gopros. I'd imagine this is a problem that the aerial guys have run into before.

Never used 'em myself, but they look like they'd work for you.

I'm a big fan of the Decimator 2 and you could use the SDI loop-through for your clean feed. Won't help you with the GoPros, though.
