... good night ... ;-))
I don't seem to get it...why are so many users are making this a big deal. We aren't complaining. We are asking you a question if you don't have the answer; fine. We are curious, is that a problem. It seems to be. Again, Epic owners get what they ask for...we understand the business side of things.
Great for the update but now we have to wait again until end of Sept for these cards. I so much appreciate your efforts but what's with the larger capacity? Are 32Gb phasing out of existence or are they not fast enough?
I know I will get heat over this. I must be the only Scarlet user who wants a lower capacity. Sorry.
I want to personally thank you, Jarred for updating us on this post. Every Scarlet owner will be thrilled...
Well, good things come to those who wait. Thanks for the capacity boost!
got my fedex notice today for the incoming 512 cards, can't wait!
We aren't complaining...I think most Scarlet owners appreciate the upgrade, but we have to wait another 3 months...that's what Jarred is stating.
I wonder how you Epic folks would feel if Jarred would say:
"Looks like we are going to be able to turn the Turbo 512GB cards into 632GB cards and we are going to keep the price the same. But to do so.. we still need to wait till Murphy's law kicks in as the memory companies flip into the next quarter.
Turbo 632GB cards shipping September 28th.
Happy now?
I bet you folks wouldn't be too happy either. Love to see that.
I'm glad all you Epic folks that can afford Turbo cards are thrilled. Yeah for you, but for us Scarlet folks, I personally would like to have 32gb cards for now like you promoted at NAB. So, what happened during the 32gb cards testing for three months. They didn't preform well? They didn't work. What's with the change?
and for the record, if you gave me a mountain of 32gb gold, I'm already there! I've been waiting for the past three months on top with my Scarlet cam ready to roll much like you Epic users would be up there waiting for your Turbo cards.
My two cents...
I'm happy every single time I turn my camera on.
And I hate to ask for any more information because you just gave a lot, but is there any approximate range on pricing for these? I'm deciding between picking up a 128GB card now, or waiting for 3 or 4 48GB cards in September/October. I'm 100% confident that they will be priced how you guys think is fair and appropriate, and I (personally) won't complain whatever the price is. But whatever it is, will help make up my mind between one or two 128GB mags, or 4 48GB mags.
