On two separate occasions RCX Pro v14 (os x) has crashed while transcoding 5K footage (Epic X & M) in batches larger than ~30 clips. Should I downgrade? I am working off of a 13" Macbook Pro inside of a DIT Station Rogue with a RED Rocket.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Samuel,

How much RAM do you have in your system? What type of transcode and to what res are you doing? If you want to send logs to redcinex at red I can take a look. Make
sure verbose logging is enabled from the preferences.

    Thanks,
    David

16GB of RAM and generally 2K. I'll send a verbose over now! Thanks!

I was having some issues too with V14. Red Rocket in an Echo Express Pro to my Mac Mini. - (16 GB Ram) I had been working mostly on the camera truck, and the heat was affecting it. What temperatures are you working in? Inside or out? I moved it into an AC filled room and haven't had any issues since.

working with the same adapter actually, I will look at putting it closer to my AC. It's running fairly cool as the Rogue unit is lined with fans, but it's worth a try!
