I must be in the minority that loves the Daniel Craig versions...

    1) You Only Live Twice

    2) Casino Royale

    3) The Man With The Golden Gun

    4) Dr. No

    5) Goldeneye

I'm a huge bond film and love them all...while also being able to recognize that some are just plain bad, but those are my top 5. James Bond is Japanese!!! Ridiculous, but a favorite :-)

I forgot about You Only Live Twice... have to go back and revise my list. So many of the older Bond Films are tied to memories. I saw Dr. No because it was the only movie showing at the Ritz Theatre in my home town on a day I skipped school on a whim.
One camera is a shoot... two or more is a production.

I remember back in middle school, was out for a sick day, head spinning, laying on the couch and there was a Bond marathon on tv. You Only Live Twice was the first Bond film I ever saw that day, and after a few more played (including Moonraker!), I've been a fan of the series ever since.

Any reason for Never Say Never Again over Thunderball? They're nearly the same movie... :-)

And at what point will this thread drift from favorite Bond films to Bond girls? Ha... just saying for future record, The Spy Who Loved Me, Barbara Bach...or Dr. No, Ursula Andress...

Heh, heh on the Bond Girls, but don't forget the movie theme songs as well. You Only Live Twice with Nancy Sinatra still makes me stop what I'm doing, kick back, and just listen. And Shirley Bassey's Goldfinger... another of those work-stoppers.

Agreed. Theme songs are a large part of what made me love the franchise...and are a big part of why even some of the worst films still get major love. YOLT, TWINE, CR, and so many more awesome themes...

I know what I'm watching tonight!

A few underrated Bond girls: Jane Seymore was gorgeous as Solitaire in Live and Let Die. Britt Ekland in Man with the Golden Gun, and of course Carole Bouquet in For Your Eyes.

    unpopulated.
