Today I officially have canceled my love for working with the touch screen - Why: Need BIGGER menus when working with the touch screen. Was just a pain navigating through menus when you want to get things done fast. And no, I don't have big fingers!

Why don't you just get a bigger screen? The menus scale with the image, right?

I think the touch screen is great for initially getting to know the camera and building confidence.... that said I am hoping that the Redmote become more useful and ulitmatly the way I and my team control settings. I hate a mucky screen and I still feel the non-touch 7 inch is a better screen to operate off.

    sorry not to agree

Use an iPad stylus with the rubber round tip it works great you can Velcro it to the side it the screen, plus it saves you from smudging your screen.

[edit]: it also helps a lot with the responsiveness.

I don't find it too small, but I do find it unresponsive/innacurate. For this reason alone, I use the side handle to navigate.

agree with above.Nice to have but not responsive enough. The side handle helps a bunch.

Ive got big fat fingers but I don't have that big a problem with the menu. Although typing emails and texts on an iphone keyboard has trained my fingers to be more accurate. I also find that the side handle is faster and easier to use than the touchscreen.

    This.
Under build 3.0.7, the drop down menus in option boxes never work unless you use S/H or R/M.
It got better under 3.2.16 [but other things got worse].
And how many times have you tried to hit the advanced menu icon and got the redcode setting instead?

yep agree with the above stated. It's for sure not to small, on my iPhone i can touch really small links on a website, and it's spot on. Better response would really be welcomed!
