I've joined in on a few threads similar to my issues with ROCKET (in CUBIX) and BOB.
However the threads are over a year old so I have to start a new one.
When we received our CUBIX and Flanders last fall, I tested this set-up with no issues.
Now after our studio move, this issue has come up where the image on the Flanders is green.
I have updated firmware on both units and have tested variations from ROCKET with or without BOB as well as the options that we're mentioned in the past posts that have seemed to fix this problem.
We also have another Mac Pro with a ROCKET and it too is coming out green with or without the BOB in the mix.
This is all happening to the Flanders LM-2461W and we have tested other feeds into this display and can't re-produce the issue.
However we can replicate this image issue on an NEC LCD display connected via HDMI but with YUV4222 8 (or any YUV option) checked on.
Im reading that its a Single SDI link issue and honestly can't figure what else to do on our end.
We tried all the BOB ports but know that we should be on the first SDI port (to the left).
Has anyone fixed this or run into this issue?

    Appreciate the help.

    Update:
Finally re-tested everything with different ROCKET system.
All good using YUV422-8 and even YUV444-8.
Put that working system in the BOB mix and that too is fine.
So now it looks like the ROCKET in the CUBIX is acting up.
Strange, I got 100 views but no one has experience this before.

Im assuming everyone is at the grocery store stocking up for July 4th ;)

My bad it seems to be the BOB causing the issues.
With the BOB in the mix Im not getting proper feed.
However its a little confusing in the BOB Manual.
There is nothing there that states a single link option.
Ive had this working using SD1A which is the first port to the left.
In manual it states this is Dual Link?
Now would it be the fact that I still have the ROCKET SDI plate patched in the CUBIX?
Im not using it but I can get it to work with the Flanders during "bypass BOB" in mix test.

I love having this personal conversation with myself :)
Oh well I guess I didn't do my homework when I purchased this Flanders.
The Flanders is 3G SDI only.
Does not support Dual Link SDI like the BOB does.
I will confirm with RED first before buying an AJA 3GM Converter.

Not sure what Bob is? But I have the Flanders as well, and I have no problems. I have the 17 inch version.

Try using the other SDI port on the Red rocket.

Sorry thats the acronym for RED ROCKET BREAKOUT BOX :)
Yep as Ive stated in my earlier posts I can use the single-link SDI straight to Flanders.
Since Flanders is the new 3G SDI connection, it states that it needs a 1.5G to 3G converter.
Just waiting for official words from RED Tech so I can go ahead and purchase.
FYI the BOB does HDMI thus why we want it.

Don't know 1 person who uses or has purchased a bob break out box.
I'm sure it's cool but just don't see a need for it in studios.
The HDMI capability sounds great but a touch scary just have bad experiences with HDMI connections over time.
Your like a one of the few so bet its gonna be tough to have a good feedback from others.

But we're watching to see what others say.

    Best of luck

Thanks its starting to make sense now. Ive been reading a ton of posts on REDUSER and noticed that no one uses it.
Oh well we purchased it a few years ago during our first RED MX.
No sense of letting it sit and do nothing :)

Im off work today but just had a thought.
Can I put the ROCKET > BREAKOUT BOX > Blackmagic Extreme 3D > Flander?
Of course the ROCKET and BM card are in the same CUBIX.
Im not back till next Monday and we still havent ordered the AJA 3GM card.

Thanks for keeping the board updated. I'm not in the boat myself, but for other people in the future, this information can only help.
As you will notice, I'm not a psychiatrist, so I'll just come out and say it: keep talking to yourself!
