Stills Feature Request.

Been using Scarlet sideways in a classic vertical portrait mode for a couple still shoots lately. Would love to have an option in REDCINE to rotate he view into a vertical mode for viewing instead of cranking my head sideways or exporting and doing a conversion in Lightroom.

already exists - check the rotation control under the "FRAMING" tab

I think his concern is that you haven't had to click a button to rotate DSLR photos since like 2003.

I understand these are primarily motion cameras (despite the DSMC marketing), but Red needs to start thinking at least a little about still photographers.

It's both actually. I was unaware that there was a portrait framing option in REDCINE, but it'd be nice if the framing was a metadata thing the app could recognize automatically.

Did a side by side still shoot against a 5D the other day and while the Scarlet yielded some really interesting and spontaneous shots the ability to get up and running on a motion picture camera is still more difficult ergo-wise than a typical stills camera, which is really no surprise.
