    This is a short piece I had to make, having grown up in that area and having friends that lost their homes to the fire.

    In this instance, the footage doesn't really show the innate quality of the Epic because we were shooting 2k on a 100-400mm Canon lens through smoke and haze at dusk. Access into the burn areas wasn't going to happen, so we did the best we could. The windowed mode played in nicely. To give you an idea, this is the same shot on an iPhone:
