    Hello,
I have the latest Build on my Red One 31.6.16, I haven't used the camera for several months as I was shooting on my Epic, but a client wanted the R-1 instead and I was happy to comply.
This client needs to cut a rough cut immediatley using the QT proxy files [don't get me started!!].
But upon viewing the QT files, they are EXTREMELY GREEN!!!
Whereas the R3D files look great [which is all we really care about anyway].
Nevertheless, this client needs to show the QT rough cut to their client for approval and is dismayed at the green color.
OK, I am a DP, not an editor, I really have no answer other then the master files are beautiful.
I looked on the RED Download site for a possible new QT codec that might eliminate this green plague, but do not see anything that would help.
Does anyone out there have a solution for this??

Open the R3D's in RedcineX Pro, make sure everything is reset to default, adjust your white balance appropriately then save all the files RMD. Now open the proxies and they should have the look you just made in RCX. Hope that helps.

Are you sure they have the latest plugin installed? I remember the green thing from long long ago, and the solution back then was to update the plugin for final cut.

Eirik is most likely correct. They need to update their plugin software. R3D clips, and the proxy QT pointer files, have a green tinge to footage shot on the RED One MX if they're using the old software. First things first, steer them to RED.COM/support and have them update all their tools.
