I think I've discovered a need for a COLLARBONE redesign or a COLLARBONE II design.

If you have the camera mounted on a QRPlate/ Clutch rig, and also have a DSMC Side Handle, it's impossible to get the battery door open without removing the COLLARBONE from the rig or taking the camera off the plate. I was shooting in a closed in space that would have made it impossible to remove the camera upward off the QRPlate without shutting down the shoot for an additional 15/20 minutes of shifting gear and lights, removing the lens with a rail mounted lens holder, etc. Might be the only time that ever happens, but, it happened. And it was too tight to remove the side handle too. It was like shooting in a cave that day!

Don't know if anyone has run into this issue, but, I thought I'd report it and hope for word of a COLLARBONE II option of some kind because I don't want to have to put a big shoot on hold again. The COLLARBONE just blocks that door ever so slightly.

    Thanks for reading!

It also interferes with the modular assault plate pack. I ended up getting another universal mount and put the collarbone on that, flipped around so the bone faces backwards to put the handles in the same spot, and mounted it to the rods.

Thanks for the idea. I would still love to see a second part though - to keep weight down and not to get in the way of other devices that sit on the rods.

It's a shame the collar won't mount under the block too!
