    This may be a stupid question but does anyone know of a place that will rent Canon mounts for the epic? I've got a shoot coming up that I could definitely use one with. (Sports photography with long lenses). I can't justify buying the mount as I would not need it enough.

    Find a place that rents Epics, and just rent the mount.
