do you have a B BOB or a poorly wired v mount. Cliff
It might be a poorly wired V-Mount. It was an early model and the manufacturer said I could send it back if there were problems. I will contact them today about a replacement since it does not send the voltage readout to the camera as it should anyway.

Simply unplugging does not seem to fix it but I will try a few things with powering down and unplugging the A-Box.

This kind of sucks when you are on a shoot and have to shut down a few times just to get audio working.

    Thanks for all the responses.

+1 on the unplugging the 1/8 mini connectors. My Epic with an A-box did the same thing when powering down periodically, I sent it into Red and the situation is fixed.

    Mine too.

I just got in the habit of looking at the level meters every time I power on, and sometimes I have to unplug/replug the 1/8 audio jacks.
