The ProMote is the next version of our remote trigger for the RED EPIC and Scarlet cameras! Range With thousands of feet of range, this bad boy can start your camera no matter where it is.

Battery An internal rechargeable battery lasts for days on a single charge. The high quality LiPo battery doesn't suffer from the effects of "memory" and voltage stays constant over the life of the battery. Plus, if anything does happen, we offer free battery replacements--for life.

    Tone
A start/stop beep ensures audible confirmation that the camera is triggered, in addition to the button lighting up. The tone can be toggled on and off.

Robust All components are water-sealed, and the circuit boards have a water proof conformal coating ensuring that they last for life.

    Modular
This remote features a 1/4-20 thread on the back. In addition to allowing you to mount it anywhere, it also allows future add-ons to be bolted on. Planned add-ons include: Battery extender Range extender Timelapse module RED ONE adaptor Alexa adaptor

    Trade-in
For owners of our existing Chocolate Bar remote, we're offering a trade-in period. If you choose to trade in your existing remote, we will offer you a $35 credit off the ProMote.

Comes with wall charger and USB charger. Let me know if you have any questions!

    Hi Andy,

Does this require the pigtail cable?

Is it wireless or do you need a separate cable for this?

And can you order with 220v wall adapter?

This unit is not wireless, though a wireless module is planned.

You'll need the 3BNC to LEMO cable, Wooden B-BOX, or similar.

Absolutely! There's plenty of time for the trade in left.

    Hi Guys,

Just wanted to let you know we now have these fully in stock and ready to ship!

We also have extended the trade-in period indefinitely for those who have our older triggers.

The ProMote was featured in Novembers Gear Guide in ICG magazine!

    Great tool Andy!!

My only suggestion to you is to make it easier for every one to order ready to use, giving specifications of Power for the USB to AC wall adaptor to include if it is 110 or 220 or both, include the exact cables and maximum lengths and for many spending double on an other box will not be an option, but having more info on a product and also having a cable included or at list linked will allow for more sales, remember that this community is goring so much and not all have the knowledge of all names and accessories we use on a daily basis, and they might find it not as easy to get parts, or understand what hey need, but if you provide all info then I am sure this will also help your sales.

Again, great product, and will sure be of great value for more then one set up, and even so currently I don't have a need for one, I am sure it can come handy for some work soon or later, so I will most likely get couple of units buddy.

Funny thing, Ketch; It was exactly those missing details that made me pass on this one. I couldn't tell top from bottom of the product description (although I assumed the thing had to be wired), so I shrugged it off. I did, however, pick up a Hi-Hat Mounting Board while I was on my way out the door. Looking forward to receiving that.

This is why I made the suggestion, I get hundreds of emails, about gear, and many of them are always about helping them out configuring a kit or a tool were there are no t all parts included in the sale.

Andy is good people and his work is second to none, its Apple Boxes we use, are absolutely GREAT, and every one in Italy always wants to snatch them up, so we keep them under security he he... ;)
