First day today with the Quad Battery Module on set. It does work, but does not show the batteries or their status in the POWER menu screen. It reports "RM B" at 0% and the brain PWR LED blinks. Quad Battery Module's LEDs are all off. See the pictures.
However, it does show the side handle battery info correctly.
I am on the latest release firmware (3.2.16)

    Faulty module? or faulty camera?
    Anyone else had this issue?

Module adaptor properly tight? It needs more than just a light 'nip' on the bolts for everything to make contact and talk properly, as the rubber blocks take a little squeeze.

well, I did try to wiggle it, take off, remount, push together for better contact - nothing worked...
anything else you can suggest to try?

I do have to note that my redmote does not work when docked, so perhaps there's something wrong with the connectors on the back of my epic and nothing attached to it can properly work?

You did turn the lock on the bottom correct? Simple but it gets overlooked.

I had the exact same issue. A reboot fixed it. But once in a while it still happens.

i had the same issue on my last shoot, and I only had the quad module.. I couldn't even get the camera to turn on... after remounting it a few times eventually the camera started getting power from the module and it worked... been fine since, dont' know what caused it.
