anyone got this camera yet? im between 5D Mark III and 1DX.Would like to see video performance against 5D Mark III.Im sure this ll be blast at high iso for stars photography over 5D/7D.

no problem :) im just wondering its worth for double price of 5D mark III...Hope Tom Lowe and others played with 1DX and they ll give some feedback about it.

Great camera. I have used it occasionally since February. The 14fps crazy, but so is 5K 120 fps out of the EPIC. The people I know that own the camera use the 5Dmiii's much more than the 1DX.

I tested it at NAB... other than the better higher ISO cleaner image and the non cleaner H264 image.... Was it really a better camera over all. I'd say not really.
If was about 5 thousand dollars, I would say get one. At a 10k price tag... I'd buy 4 5D MKIII's ... that's only if I was a DSLR user which I'm not.

I'm looking at the Canon EOS 60Da DSLR [A for Astrophotography] for mixing in some night timelapse with red footage ... seems like a perty nice camera (I have a 5d mark ii right now).
