Jason, you should check this, I was told the throw is about the same...and it's what is stopping me from get it. I'd really like a 300 degs rotation for sure!!! ;)

We have 4 Duclos 11 16mm lensess and a couple of other conversions. Buy the Duclos you won't go wrong. Recent ebay sales of used Duclos lenses go for more than they are new, not that you would sell it of course.

And the other consideration is when considering how you will spend you money.

Dealing with Duclos is a pleasure, you know your purchase will be delivered when that say it will, it will work out of the box be well supported during its life. Its very genuinely great value lens too. Trust is a big issue these days and it's helps me sleep better to know when we buy something its a good investment going to a trusted supplier.

FWIW, Ive no link to the Duclos other than being a very happy customer.

So the focus throw is actually further in the Duclos modded one? I have been reading a lot about this lens, I want one as my first PL lens potentially since I like the speed, focal length, and for my budget I am stuck between one cine prime, super retro 20lb angies, or this and as far as I can tell form factor, focal length, and speed wise this is my best pick since one prime doesn't really do much for a guy lol. For my needs its pretty awesome I think, since I shoot a lot of cropped in overcranked sports stuff so I genuinely want a fast and wide lens so this mod seems like the way to go since the originals look flimsy and that concerns me. PS any ideas on weight of the Duclos modded one guys? thanks!
