    Right. Dragon will be out before the end of this year for EPICs. My realistic guess: something like an 8K sensor, about 34mm x 17mm. Or perhaps it will be a 16K native sensor with 8K output. Who knows?

    Either that or a DSLR with a Dragon sensor with several mount options (I doubt it, though).
    Good production values may not be noticed. Bad production values will be.

    Epic & Scarlet High FrameRates @ 6K

    Seems like 4k will kick into high gear by 2013, we saw tons of recorders and bodies to support 4K output a few months ago. It's around the corner, all we need is 55'' 4K screens to become affordable.

    I would guess that RED is bringing out a Lytro-like system, so everything will become metadata in RED land, even focus!

    Integrated 3D, two sensors and parallel processing chains in one box, convergence and pitch alignment of the sensor images automated with fluid prisms, one on vertical plane, one on horiztonal plane, controlled by adapted autofocus distance finding systems, Ari Presler's SI3D/Fraunhofer 3D alignment monitoring overlay display on screen? - Getting warm or as cold as the Antarctic ice??.

    I've suggested this to a few other players but nothing has seen the light of day yet. I should have troll-patented it myself, made an unearned fortune and then I could afford to buy the RED. Alas I just dream and lurk.
