Absolutely amazing, when you think that only a few years ago, I heard about Red right around NAB 2006 and went to IBC to see what this was about, that's when I put down my $1000 and signed up as a believer, there were a lot of nay sayers then. When I told people about Red at that time, very few believed this would come to anything. What convinced me then was Jim, I got my metal R signed by him but also the fact that he had people like Graeme Nattress anf Frederic Lumiere on board. Those guys I knew were thinking ahead, and if they were part of this, something was up. Congratulations Jim and all of the Red team, this, all these major movies being shot on your cameras, which people thought was a hoax only six years ago, if you just stop and think about it, is really impressive. So glad I was along for the ride.
Thank you Jim, Fred, Graeme, Kelly, Jarred, and all the others who contributed to make this happen. You can and should be proud,
Cheers,
Damien
I would if I could afford one.
Lots of features shot on RED this year.
And you have the same camera...

Isen't that just unbelievable?
thank you Mr. Jannard.
I was hoping this was about the camera build but more movies is nice too, thought Prometheus looked excellent.
Adam Sandler's Grown Ups 2 is also now shooting on Red Epic, by the great Theo van de Sande. Terrific DP.
I shot some of the blood splatters for the title sequence of Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter on my Epic. Probably about 4-5 splatters, drips, etc... See if you can tell what is RED and what is CGI. I heard the 2k high-speed shot also made the cut. I think it's out now?
