This is how we do it in Tennessee...

At a friend's wedding this weekend, decided I better pull the cam out of the truck and capture this special moment. The grooms two brothers and the rest of the groomsmen got in cahoots to do a surprise performance in honor of the newlyweds. Thanks to the quick boot time and no fussing around with settings, I got it. Used an Olympus 28mm prime @ 2.8, grading via RCX. Love this lens, love this cam :)

    thank you!

redcolor3, redgamma2 - white balance, luma + rgb curves, dropped saturation.

the wedding had a yellow theme, so i used the curves to enhance yellows/skintones and pushed the shadows towards purple to complement, also giving it an old-timey photo-chemical look.

that being said, i'm using a vintage lens and the lighting/location was picture perfect :)

no problem. best hint i can give is be subtle with adjustments... avoid the 'instagram effect' unless you have a clear purpose. if you use presets, like magic bullet - they are designed to be dialed back. way back.
