Make more stickers of the expansive kind. We got more places to put them than you can imagine. So cut down on the over worked delivery boxes and put some Stickers in there instead. Would be nice with a big (This epic belongs to:....) and such. Or just stickers that we could put on our pellicases, saying "RED CLUTCH", "RPP's" Etc.
Like the nice cut foam in the boxes though keep that work up.
The first computer I bought was a Mac and I don't see myself going to a PC....ever. If I want to run windows I run it on my Mac...or Linux...and then back to Mac OS. Hopefully Apple will see the reaction from their customers and change things up a bit. That's one of the cool things I like about RED. For the most part if something gets brought up and sounds like a good idea and even remotely possible it seems to at least have some people working on it.
But with that said where is my freakin timelapse mode for my Epic.
Ugh, huge disappointment. But there is still hope: http://www.macrumors.com/2012/06/11/...bably-in-2013/
I just hope that I don't have to switch back to pc to survive the drought.
So when's the Red Cinebook Pro coming out?
It seems that both an engineer and Tim Cook himself said that the new Mac Pro will come for 2013.

David Pogue from the NY Times said that after the Keynote, an Apple engineer (or "important people", don't know of to translate "cadre" in english) saif that they were working on new Mac Pro models with a new design for a launch date probably in 2013.Anyway to me, 2013 is kinda late... But better than nothing ? :/In a mail from Tim Cook to a MacRumors reader : « Our pro customers are very important for us... Don't worry we are working for something really great for next year. ».
Hugely disappointed too. Been a Mac-only individual for 10y+, influencing others around me. My MacPro (2006) was in dire need of a successor. I'm keeping it for everyday stuff but ordered a Win beast for Video work.
So disappointed.
I am very excited about the direction they are heading in and I believe (hope) they are cooking up a mac pro as well...but the future of computing is going mobile and apple is always looking forward.
I got really excited about that as well, but then i re-read what David Pogue said :
"Many Apple observers also wonder if Apple thinks that desktop computers are dead, since not a word was said about the iMac and Mac Pro. An executive did assure me, however, that new models and new designs are under way, probably for release in 2013"
Dont forget the Imac in that sentence and the topic being desktops which the imac counts as... it could very well just mean that there are new iMacs coming, not necessarily mac pros. And Tim Cook didnt really say anything either in that email.
Boy is it funny how hard we all really try and find some good news between the lines. We are a desperate bunch :)
I have already switch to the dark side.. but i promise, if a tower and proper notebook is released in the near future, I will get back on the apple horse faster than it took me to write this post :)
I actually heard from a friend that Apple is re-evaualating the FCP8 they were working on before they shifted to FCPX.
