You have had resolution for a good while, let's get some real off the chart dynamic range now.
Obsolescense Obsolete, still, Jim, right?
Wonderful times, indeed. High quality and affordability, and contiuous development. Exciting.
I love the word "image capture"... methinks this is a hint towards one of those crazy light field plenoptic thingies!
This would give another reason as to why RED are good friends with Adobe (who researched this quite a lot) :P
Hope so. To me the future is not just stereo but a kind of awesome holographic world...

So awesome! Touche!
Me and my big mouth will shut up now and get back to work on the trailer for one of your big RED movies coming out in 2013. Will try to make it extra awesome as penance :P

Competition is good. What were the rules again?
Me too. ;)
Well Jim, you shook these guys up. Not only did you get them up off their asses, you broke their entire, stupid business model of withholding technology from their customers, dishing it out in tiny increments, while "protecting" their 1/4 million dollar 1080p cameras. That is one of the most important results of all this -- the death of the despicable Sony/Panasonic video camera business model, which screwed the average guys in the middle and at the bottom of the food chain. Panasonic is still literally reeling from this, IMO. And obviously Sony was caught flat footed.
