Anyone have a recommendation for a good green screen keyer for Premiere Pro? I've used the built in "Ultra Key" but still looking for more control.

I'm using the Chromatte green-screen setup and it seems to work pretty well but the LED lights are creating shadows behind the subject that are a darker green and they aren't keying out very well.

Chromatte from what I have read and seen, you lose alot of detail and it doesn't look so natural. I know your question was for premiere, but I would say try opening the file into After Effects and use keylight. Make a garbage matte around the subject. If that works well then render it out with the alpha channel. If using keylight doesn't work too well, try creating a difference matte. You can google that :) Good luck, and happy keying!

Ultra Key is pretty good considering it's a realtime effect, but if you require more control, Keylight in After Effects is the go. I found this tutorial very helpful, it's part 1 of 4 parts, the last couple deal more with what you're after.

I like red giant primatte Keyer pro.
Excellent auto set up .. I use it for half hour 3 camera . Great spill killer , and fine tuning control . I have the whole suit... Approx 800.00 usd .. Totally worth it in my opinion
