I think the reasoning would have to be one that is probably less obvious than it may seem. 3D in this case is not about things flying at you or any of the gimmicky stuff at all. It's about capturing a real event, one that is hopefully very meaningful to you many years later and being able to in a way relive it via the 3D space. It's kind of cool actually, and I'm not a big fan of 3D. Not sure it would be great to do at all weddings, but for those who are really into it, I could see a market for this.
