Ok then...when will it be added? I know we had this feature on Red 1 super early. Would be great to have.

I've been on two shows within two weeks that parts of the both requested some extensive time-lapse work. All you can tell the client is 1fps is the limit. On out last show we had to use our Red ONE B cam for the time-lapse work. Good fortune that we had that older Red which should tell us all something.

Shooting at 1fps with a 360 degree shutter angle then pulling out every other frame is a successful looking 0.5 fps.

I hear what you're saying but that is such big step back from where we should be in mid-2012. If I'm going to go to the trouble to do all that I will break out the 5D. Time-lapse with a DSLR makes perfect sense if you're shooting time-exposures... for now.

I would love to see a timelapse mode in Epic sooner than later. But yeah, for now I just shoot timelapse on my 5D3. All my daytime timelapse if it doesn't have to be really long I shoot on the Epic. For night shots it can work. But it would look so much better with some longer exposure times.
