    Watch the video, it says 1100 bucks normal pricing, 995 at the cinegear show. Not bad, really! For a good solid 300ft range if the latency is unnoticeable, I'm in. It certainly is nice and tiny... my one complaint about the Switronix RECON wireless system was the size and the fan.

    Any idea of the power consumption of this unit?

    I'd assume so, being as transmitters and receivers for this sort of thing are generally sold as a pair...
