    Hi Douglas,

would it be possible to make such a Nikon mount for m4/3 cameras? Maybe even with a 15mm rod mount and the possibility to adjust the back focus? I'm still using quite often my GH2, and that would really be a great accessory for it.

Nice price, Douglas, especially for a mount that allows the use of G lenses.

    Thanks Petri and Michael.

I have made mounts for the GH2 before but probably won't in the future as there seem to be many options for that camera from others. I keep wanting to buy a GH2 though - seems like a great option for some shoots.

I will be in Portland OR June 12-17 and Paris June 29- July 3rd if anyone wants to meet and see my products in person.

    Thanks
    Doug

It is not up to me to speak for Red in any way. I don't think this is cryptic, just considerate.
Optitek prolock mount have been aprouved by Red, so why yours haven't being aprouved aswell?
Maybe Red head quarter just need more time to look at it?

Jarred has said before any non-electronic mount is OK warranty-wise. It's the electronic ones that may cause damage to the camera, as happened with the Birger and the R1 a while back. So I'd guess this mount is just fine.

And damn, $300? That's a pretty good deal.

EDIT: Just watched the video, and it looks pretty high quality. Interesting that this mount doesn't require any rotation of the lens like the RED Canon mount does. Both have a positive locking mechanism.

    .
Ian, would you be able to point us to Jarred's statement. We'd better be sure. Warranty is something... Thanks !
