I am trying to make a dcdm for a dcp and as such I need tiff files. That being said, the text appears abnormal with the tiff file but normal in jpeg. I made the text in adobe after effects.

Check your alpha settings when exporting a tiff file. It looks like it exported a mask and is displaying it wrong. i would just turn off the export alpha. If you are trying to export an alpha however, you can change the way it is displayed in the interpret footage dialog.

Also if you pulled these screen grabs from preview on a mac or another similar program you may be fine. These programs don't decode the alpha in tiff's properly all the time.

Re-Import it back into AEX... if it works as planned... you're good.
