We are getting ready to launch my film "TimeScapes" in a couple of days, and it occurred to me that this film might in fact be the first 4K film ever sold to the public directly? is this correct? Obviously there are 4K films like "Dragon Tattoo" that have played in theaters, but as far as I know, there has never been a 4K film sold to the public as a 4K file or disc? Is that correct?
I am aware of a short film called "Sintel", but this is a short film and is being given away for free. Are there any other 4K films being sold to the public?
