Any reason not to un-install CS5.5 before install CS6 on Win7?

I always keep a previous version on my system, just in case a legacy project is not importing right, or something goes wrong. Unless you are really short on disk space I don't think there is any reason to not keep it installed. Also keep in mind that some plugins are shared in the adobe common folder, so if you keep CS5.5 installed, you can just drag and drop those into cS6.

I do have a number of plug-ins installed for CS 5.5.

If I leave it installed, then install CS6, can I then get rid of it - and keep the plug-ins?

Is there an Adobe tool that would allow getting rid of every last bit of it?
