  1. #1 Very Experienced Colorist in NYC available
Hi everyone - John Tissavary here.

I'm a New York based senior level colorist offering my services as freelancer for in-suite or on-set grading, color management consulting, and workflow consulting.

I have my own gear (DaVinci Resolve, Assimilate Scratch, Klein K-10 Colorimeter, Cinespace color management software) and a lot of experience in high profile client supervised sessions, as well as unsupervised, remote, on-set, etc... I have clients all over the world, and for work outside of the New York area will gladly travel.

I've graded quite a number of Red based feature films, commercials, and music videos since the very first days of the Red One, and am also fluent with film DI / transfer and other digital cine and video cameras.

A link to my website with stills and a downloadable reel:

And a few recent commercials I graded (Steak N Shake, Mountain Dew, Dentyne):

Please contact me via PM on reduser, or preferably via e-mail:

I look forward to working with you all!

The work John did for me was excellent. His extensive knowledge of image metrics, technologies, formats, etc can really help you get the best results.

Full disclosure: I consider John a friend. That said, if I wasn't a genuine fan of his work I would just stay quiet rather than publicly recommending him.

    Cheers - #19

Thanks for the nice words, Blair! Miss you and SoCal, though I'm absolutely loving it here in NYC.

Thank you all for your kind words! Steven: your film turned out amazing, it's no wonder one of the top spot editors in NYC (who did a cut of my reel) chose to include it.
