    Hey everyone..

quick question.. so is it wise to shoot the whole scene and exposing scenes viewing everything in raw mode or should I just shoot in color mode and go by that?

Also what is your best opinion shooting a dark lit horror scene interior? I was really thinking of lighting everything pretty lit up but placing lights in places where I know it would create a pretty cool horror effect, but light the subject up pretty well.. and then in post darken and colorize the heck out of it.. is this how people usually do it?

    1) I am under the impression (and therefore that is what I do) that it is best to shoot not looking at RAW but checking RAW if you have to because you will find when you start grading it the lighting was not as you anticipated it being since you lit for RAW, which can actually be a little confusing if you're looking at the monitor for reference.

    2) I think its best to get a good exposure (you don't need to light everything how you would a romantic comedy obviously). And if it feels a little bit too bright for what you thought you were going for you can drop the ISO a little bit in RCX.
