It seems like Jag35 is designing a Rig and power solution RED. And because it's Jag35
I bet it will also be an affordable solution for us Scarlet users.
What do you guys think?

Does it make a lot of noise? Hmmm...
I saw the WEFF in person at NAB, and I definitely could hear it working. Hard to tell on the show floor if it was too loud for dialogue scenes. Here's a comment from the company on its product page concerning the sound levels.

"The other thing that we set out to do, is find a way to make the motors quieter. It seems to be a problem for a lot of people, even though, like I said before, a product like this isn't meant to be used for every situation. If you need absolute silence to get your shot, then this product is not to be used under that application, but if you need to be able to control your focus wirelessly, while your camera is mounted to a jib, or a helicopter, or slider, clamped to a car, or any of the many applications that don't require you to have a super silent set, then this product should perform"
I'd be a little hesitant to go this route for Scarlet/Epic gear or wait a generation or two. Their DSLR gear is fine, I have a few friends who use their rigs and love them. It's the next cheapest option to RedRock then it goes up to Zacuto. I personally don't like their gear for professional use it's more enthusiast/hobby, got me through my amateur days until I could afford the real stuff which is cool to have that stepping stone. I still have a D-follow focus V2 which will be used on C-Camera or a back-up last hope choice. Cinema equipement is overbuilt because it goes through a ton of stress in a production environment (12-17hr days for 25+ days), so I wouldn't put it through a show like that, but a afternoon shoot or 2 Day music video no problem.
Its a great option to save you cash and get you by. Just have to wait for price and shipping announcements.
Affordable,, sure.
Usable or dependable in a professional setting?..rarely.
Sorry guys, but Jag35's history of producing "affordable gear for non-professional use" is exactly what you will get.
