    Finally!!!
Thank you everyone for your patience.
We'll clear out all back ordered items by tomorrow.
Next week we'll ship from stock.
At this time I would like to announce an upgrade/trade in program when ready this fall (winter?):
    G-lens focus control and feedback
    Image stabilization support (VR)
Hand controller with traditional FF wheel and iris slider. Drive by wire.
    Wireless and wired
This is a stand alone system not connected electrically to the camera in any way.
Everything will have to be cleared by RDC powers that be prior to availability.

Very cool Jacek. Any rough estimates of the cost? Really enjoying my prolock for the Epic- rock solid.

So, why would I opt for this mount over the upcoming Red Nikon mount, which will only cost $700 for Aluminum, $2200 for the Titanium. I mean, if the Optitek dumb mount cost around $1000, how much will the smart one cost?
    not being facetious, just wondering...

I'm only guessing here (about opti-tek mount)....but a feature i REALLY would have liked to see is having manual AND electronic control. The RED nikon mount will NOT have manual control (according to a post by Jarred)....and I assume the OptiTek mount will allow Manual AND electronic control....that's something the designer should comment on, but i'd expect that to be the case...AND, that may not be a big thing for many users...but for me I DESPERATELY need manual aperture control.....so the RED Nikon mount is not even an option for "me" and likely others....but also note the OptiTek mount is here today....RED tomorrow...so what you need and when you need it is always "the" factor

Good points; manulal control is big PLUS.

@Fuller; Thanks for pointing out my mistake on the prices of the Red Nikon mounts; I corrected my post above.

    Great ...

Perhaps you can return my Optitek Prolock Nikon for Epic adapter that I Fedexed to you and you received 04/09/2012.
As you recall this was for an upgrade to insure my warranty was not voided due to changes in the adapter after RED notified
you of an electrical short issue with your adapter...which you did not notify me about...just found a thread on REDUSER.

Purchased it last year and am still awaiting a usable adapter.....

Would be nice to install and use it prior to the arrival of the RED Nikon TI mount.....
