I will be there for the whole event. My company is a technology sponsor. Feel free to PM me for my email address. Small chance I can hook you up with a pass while you are there. We have a lot of people going with us and you never know if everyone will be there for the whole event.

I would also like to meet up with others there. It is always good to build the personal network!

Probably not going but been there about four times. For late registration make sure you have a film website with the films you're developing or selling and make sure you are listed as the producer as they are given priority. That way you might be able to register at the desk if you can't piggy back someone else's company. Cheap accommodation is in Cannes La Bocca but it's a way to walk late at night if you can't find a taxi, about half an hour. Sometimes you can find good deals late in the day but it can get packed.

Oh and the best late night drinks is La Petite Majestic behind the main Majestic Hotel. Packed and out onto the street until 4am. Good place to meet before going somewhere else or for a cheap drink after a party has shut down.

This image kind of captures how I imagine my trip. :D

Tux...Check. This is kind of the idea...still need a room but worse case scenario I got my 2CV, one day I will look back and cherish moments like these...when I am on the red carpet accepting my pomme d'or of course ;)

All kidding aside (sort of) I am might have found a badge not not 100% as of yet!
Another tip: Get a hot girl in ball gown on your arm and crash those parties! I seem to recall crashing most of the major parties at the hotels and we hung out with all the stars at some of those parties. I recall partying til sunrise with Michael Madson on the roof top of the Carlton hotel. Good times, good times.. :)

Hot girl! My welsh mate Carl has got curly blonde hair. He's going, I'll just dress him up & nobody will be able to tell if he has a shave.

I'll be there as well! We have a short film that is an official selection (we did all the post in it, shot in Alexa, hence why no mention of it in this forums)

If there is enough of us, we should all have lunch together one day.
