    Support for the original Red Pro 7" display, please don't make it obsolete like the Bomb EVF.

    Related but somewhat off-topic: does anyone know if this new FW will fix the black bars via HDMI/HD-SDI? If so I am about to pull the trigger on an outboard recorder.
    Yes, the next firmware release will support that feature. Status is it's currently in internal test, we'll give a firm release date as soon as we've cleared up a couple of bugs that this testing has identified.
