Just curious how to make sure music stays in sync with shooting 48 fps playing music at exactly 2x the speed?
Does this work shooting 23.98 time base?

Would love to know the tricks of this using the EPIC

    thank you!

So just to confirm (I will test) i can't shoot a 23.98 timebase, I need to shoot 24 timebase and shoot at 48, and play music at 2x?

    BTW, very nice video!

I would expect a TB of 23.98 to drift @48fps. So long as your frame rate is a multiple of your time base I should think you could shoot in whatever time base you choose. Right? 1 second= 1 second, 23.98 frames does not =48/2

Let us know what you learn.

Very true! So I guess shooting 47.96 would solve that.. I keep forgetting how easy it into enter any frame rate you want

Where will this be required to play back Justin? Be sure to choose a time base that the player can handle.

Ahhhhh, yes, true.. Guess testing will be the best thing.. Are there any APPS that you can doctor up speed on music or song playback?

  10. #10 Frame rate..
Be sure to test playback at 48.048, and actual 48.00

Call Glen Trew at Trew audio for the definitive expert opinion... he has prepared more playback than anyone else I can think of in the USA..
