Thought I would chime in with my opinion/prediction. I'm going way out on a limb here but...
I believe they days of spending several tens of thousands on a camera are almost over. I predict that BM releases a 4k s35 version for close to $6-7k within 24 months.
I love RED and how they have changed the industry, but I think the trend of more and more expensive cameras has to change pretty soon or competitors like BM will eat their lunch in a few years. I predict that an Epic with the new Dragon sensor will not cost more than the current Epic. The price increase of the MX R1 simply won't be repeated.
Call me crazy. LOL
