My new Epic kit is my first foray into buying gear that I can't afford to replace, and I would like to insure it. California Redusers - which company do you use to insure your gear? What kind of coverage options are available for insuring cinema gear (i.e. coverage for renting out your gear or travelling internationally with it) and what should I expect to pay for it? Is there anything in particular I should seek out or avoid provider-wise or policy-wise?

    Thanks for your advice.

+1. We just got our Scarlet and are looking for insurance so i'm definitely interested to hear from those that have already purchased insurance.

I use insuremyequipment which a lot of redusers use. They have been great so far.

Includes Coverage for my gear, coverage for gear I rent from someone else, general liability insurance $2million/4million aggregate (which for many clients you need just to step on their property)
