    Hi everybody,

received one of the first Scarlets in Belgium, love the small box!
Anyhow, I'm using a viewfactor AB plate with Dionic 90's..
But after 40 minutes (I guess, haven't timed it) all dionic's are dead and the power get's underneath 13V or so.

Is this normal? I mean, does a scarlet really drinks that much?

    Thanks!
    Piet

60 watt consumption while recording, and not very efficient power management at the moment. 40 min sounds right.

    no, thats not normal.
running secondhand Dionic 90's I get around 80-90 minutes per battery, with a side handle and red touchscreen. Are you maybe running a lot of external accessories? Voltage should go well under 12V before switching off. Maybe your batteries are old enough to fluctuate too much. Are you charging them with intellicharge function?

Should be around 90 mins unless you are running external devices.

Dead at 13V? thats odd for 4S li-ion, camera shouldnt die until 11.5V and battery shouldn't read really dead until ~11V
