  1. #1 Car Fire on the Strip...
While shooting street scenes in Las Vegas last week, a car caught fire in front of me. Not every shot is in focus as I was scrambling to change lenses and dealing with foreground traffic getting in my way. Here's a montage:

Lots of onlookers behind us. One of them asked: "are you shooting a movie?" :)

Oh...and the driver got out OK.

Well, when I think of what I really wish for, I wish that I had focused better with the lens I had at the time. Still a longer lens would be nice. :)

    You called?

I'll see your car fire and raise you a truck fire... I was out with the guys last week and brought EPIC. Give me a few mins to render something out and upload!

Great grab for sure, always seems like you don't have the 24-290 in those moments when you could really use it :D

The epic focus assist options are really nice. I have two preset buttons to zoom and edge focus. I'm in the hunt for a nice long lens. Something fast and zoom frame able. The two really go against each other, no?
