Cool what you're doing here Greg!
Greg what did you see as the problem with the ones I sent over? Exposure, color, OTHER issues? curious because I was pretty happy with them.
Oh they were great, but you are the only one, we need lots of input from the users :) then we have a verity to choose from:) examples and looks
Cool Thread Greg-
w-a-a-a-y too much of a RCX newbie to even consider posting a Look, but shamelessly will have a go at any that are posted (like: I grabbed yours). Obviously if we as a Red community can build up a Library here somewhere that these can be posted, evaluated, shared - it would be a tremendous asset to everyone.
my thanks

Great post Greg...whats the best way to import the look you created in the Scarlet
is it kinda, whack in on a redmag and put it in the cam?
Greg, nice job. BTW, thats Robert Moses Causeway! Brings back childhood memories.
I just began working on the ABC Family series Dirty Little Liars, as 2nd unit DIT. They are shooting mainly with Scarlet's, but our crew have Epics. After lighting was set, I took color temp readings with a Sekonic C-500 Prodigi Color meter. Then I set the kelvin and CC into all 3 cameras, OMG, spot on ( I was also surprised how closely matched all three Epics were). The results were amazingly spot on neutral. To verify my reading, I also shot the gray card (my standard), and all 3 color channels were equal on the gray card. The DP was very happy, as he was viewing pretty clean images, with nice skin tones.
As my reference monitor, the Eizo 232W showed a image that only needed a tiny crush in RCX. I was feeling a bit guilty, because normally getting good start color takes a small procedure, I arrived there so effortlessly. Look this is not rocket science, you can spend time, or go directly to perfect color. It's by no means "YOUR LOOK", but it's the best starting point to get creative with your image. If you just want clean, you've got it, done.
Unfortunately, due to non-disclosure, I cannot show the images here, but I'll post something soon.
