I currently have some x accs languishing in UK Customs.

Tracking the package tells me that USPS got it to the UK within 48 hours of ordering and I've no idea why it's taking so long now that it's in the UK. I'd assumed that it was nothing to do with WC or USPS.

Sorry to be so naive, but is it the case that I could have done something to expedite the customs side of things? My previous WC order zipped through in a few days and it was for a larger order.

International shipment delivery by USPS Express Mail varies a lot and it really depends on the destination country's customs clearance process. Australia for example is usually very quick while EU countries takes longer and Italy and Greece take the longest of all. I am not sure of the exact cause but it could have to do with the actual person clearing the packages or the amount of packages received at the same time. For fastest delivery, UPS is worth the price. They give an exact date and have the most frequent updates of all carriers.
