Good for you man! Looks like a blast!
arse kicking setups... so simple.... so quick...
Im from the old school of shooting panovision cameras, arr's.... but this new way of shooting is such an amazing freedom.
Congrats Andrea !
I love those small setups. :)
What type of battery does the guy with the PL mount Epic have ?
I am old school guy like Mark and just love the small simple setups. I can spend more time lighting and blocking and less time messing with the camera
Most definitely Mark! Thank you for your insightful posts. Soon there will be a time that the term "cinema lens" will hold less and less significance. Albeit I would love to have a few of those new Leica lenses... lol.
Thanks! He's using a battery belt clip with the 2b-1b adapter.
Cinematography is spreading to the fringes and soon will be for everyone... the old ways of 17k heavy tripods/sticks and 6k matte boxes and follow focuses... just is old fashioned. My biggest client now is a 20 year old and I keep meeting more and more younger ones. It's crazy out there... lol.
We still got that setup for the old guard... but I don't push it anymore to clients. It's hard for those things to recuperate their cost or for some segments to even afford them as a premium camera package... a oconnor 2575c is renting for so cheap in our market. I can get $50 a day for a $300 tripod and a 17k tripod system is only making double that. Same with RED Pro Primes... 60 a lens and canon L lenses can rent for about the same price. The next generation will look it as an absurdity.
It looks great! All the best
