No doubt you guys are aware of the price difference of Adobe products around the World, in Australia they are at least 50% more expensive compared to the US.

I was just watching SkyNews, a Member of Parliament was being interviewed and mentioned the cost of software in Australia and specifically mentioned Adobe, it seems the Australian Government may be having a good look at the Trade Agreement with the USA.
This should come as no surprise to Adobe as this has been brought to their attention numerous times on their own forums.

The cloud subscription isn't quite so bad ($63AUD/month vs $50US/month). Though considering there is no GST (it's an international purchase even through the Australian store) and our dollar is higher than the greenback these days, it is a little odd.

It's the principle of it. Can you imagine Red selling their products at a 50% premium to Australians- no way. Or how about we decide to up the price of iron ore or coal by 50% to US buyers. Trade Agreements are in place for this very reason, it wouldn't surprise me if companies listed on the NASDAQ have to comply with these Trade Agreements, we'll see.
