    Hello all.

I'd tremendously appreciate any directions in creating the (in-)famous Orange and Teal look. I know this can be done in post in many different ways, but I want specifically use RCX.

    Thanks for your help.

Not sure it's gonna get you there. You need to be able to target the specific hues to boost their saturation. RCX is more of a One-Light tool. It doesn't really have any tools for secondaries. Resolve would make pretty quick work of this... but then, that's outside RCX.

use the color curves & lift/gamma/gain to cool down your background/shadows and warm up your foreground/keylight. gather reference imagery and match it. there's really no formulaic process... just make it look good. you'll probably have better luck in a dedicated grading app, or with a dedicated colorist... in any case, magic bullet probably has a preset.

I find it really tiresome and it is the reason why I feel reluctant posting issues here in the first place.

Can you post an r3d trim on here of the footage you want to grade, plus a reference of what you want it to look like and I'll do it in RCX and show you how.

Sorry, was trying to be humorous. There a pretty good demo out there from about 3 years ago. I think on the prolost.com site. Using colorista.
