try turn off wi-fi and follow the upgrade instructions
I double-clicked on the REDMoteUpgradeApp and it 'opened' with Adobe Flash Builder...... !?
So I then used the old version to install the file...
I have the same problem and have tried entering the subnet mask, using an older upgrade app, turning off wi-fi etc - but am still unable to connect and upgrade. :(
Ditto
use 3.0, it works...
Thanks Mestizo, opened Terminal and used the 3.0.0. version and it worked like a charm - I'd previously used the upgrade utility that came with 2.0.5, which I couldn't get to work.
I just received my new REDmote and had to upgrade to Firmware 3.1.6. The latest Upgrade Utility didn't work for me either (on MacBookPro5,1), but the old software (REDMoteUpgradeApp 2.0.9) did the job.
