Forgive my naivete if this has come up and I've missed it:
Does anyone know if it's currently possible to build a battery mount that attaches to the back of any module or module adapter and powers the camera through the contacts instead of through a cable?
The Meizler looks like it does this (but it breaks out all the IO beneath the camera so maybe It's still powering through the DC-IN.).
I don't mind cables but it would be convenient to be able to plug in a block battery while powering off a brick without adding an extra distro box. Volts are an option but that still leaves another box to break out for AKS.
Is someone on this?
