Damn, can't afford this one right now. But will be sure to get one when the wireless module is available and does what I think it will.

Imagine connecting the 9" Touchscreen to the wireless video receiver for Touch Focus Tracking. And with the Meizler Module you can do Touch Focus Tracking with any lenses, not just electronic lenses.

Not sure I follow you...how would you power the monitor if it wasnt attached to the camera. And the monitor doesnt have a wireless receiver built in, its the same as the existing 5" Touch screen, just larger.

The monitor would be powered from the wireless receiver (those need their own power anyway). Did you see that both wireless modules support touchscreen commands? All we need is a receiver with a Red monitor output.

Ordered our 9"...cannot wait to get that.

Yes, this wireless stuff is the first step into the RedmotePro. When I asked at the booth, there was a definitely a wink and nod of agreement from RED. Once they get the wireless working and shipping, hopefully the RedmotePro with the ability to control focus will be right behind.

Looking forward to receiving this. I've had it on order ever since the release announcement in April. Any current shipping ETA?
